House rules:
-Please NO smoking in the house. If you smoke outside, please use care and
dispose of your cigarette butts in a safe manner. Also, please check to see if local fire
bans are in place before smoking. Sometimes they forbid smoking outside.
Smoking can be grounds for withholding the deposit.
-Only use provided appliances for their intended purpose.

  • Trash service is not provided. Please dispose of your trash in a timely manner.
Guests are welcome to use the dumpster located at the back of the parking lot at 995
    Cowen Drive, Carbondale, CO 81623.
  • Maintain a good level of cleanliness throughout your stay, this will keep out unwanted
    furry guests.
  • The lodge is completely off the grid and powered by solar energy and propane.
Please be mindful of energy usage. Use natural light as much as possible, and turn off any
unnecessary lights. Make sure the fireplace is turned off before you check out.
-Tidy the grill after use, so it stays safe and easy to use.
-Please notify us of all pets in the house or on the premises before checking in. A pet
fee of $25 is required for each pet. Having pets without letting us know (as much as we
love them!) can also be grounds for withholding the deposit. Never leave your pet alone
in the lodge. Do not allow pets on the furniture. Please clean up after your pet to
    receive your deposit back.
-Do not feed any wildlife that visits the lodge.
-Be aware the lodge borders wilderness. Some of the land nearby could be prone to
avalanches in the winter. Supervise children as they play in the snow around the cabin.
Check avalanche conditions at the CAID website before venturing far from the cabin.

purposes of repair and inspection. The homeowner will exercise this right of access in a
reasonable manner and advise beforehand where possible.
